RCJ CLEANING SQUAD
TERMS OF AGREEMENT
The following Terms of Agreement is a legal contract between an individual user and RCJ Cleaning Squad regarding the services.
Liability Policy
Contractor agrees to provide services stated in this contract in a reliable and trustworthy manner. In consideration of these services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives any and all claims against Contractor, unless arising from gross negligence on the part of the Contractor.
Every effort is made to be as careful as possible with your household items. In the unlikely event of an accident, notification must be made within 24 hours of breakage or loss of any personal items. Items which are considered antiques that may be irreplaceable and hard to find are not covered by our breakage policy.
Contractor does not use ladders or move items that are more than 35 pounds in order to protect us and our employees from injuries. If cleaning is desired behind these objects that may require moving, please move these object prior to cleaning.
Contractor uses mostly natural products endorsed by the Environment Working Group. Contractor avoids the use of bleach. If client requests use of bleach, Contractor is not responsible for any damage it may cause.
Contractor is not responsible for damage incurred by a loose or improper installation of any object. All surfaces are assumed to be sealed. If you know of any surface that is not sealed, you must notify us so that we may clean that surface properly.
2. Business Policy
Contractor staff does not clean animal cages or litter boxes, animal droppings, human feces, urine, vomit, soiled clothing or other similar biohazards that could endanger employees’ health.
Contractor prefers that alarms are kept turned “off” on the day of cleaning. If it must be “on” and the alarm is triggered, Contractor is not responsible for any fees associated with the alarm that may be imposed by any agency.
Contractor agrees to keep keys and other client information secure and confidential. Locksmith fees are paid only if Contractor is at fault in the safekeeping of keys.
Cleaning rates are subject to change as the condition of your home changes. Additional services need to be requested ahead of time so that Contractor can schedule the additional time and allocate the proper equipment and/or supplies.
A checklist will be left with the client to show exactly what Contractor did in each room on the day of cleaning.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be received two days before scheduled cleaning day or that day’s cleaning fees will be applied. A cleaning day not performed also falls in the same category as cancellation in the event that Contractor is unable to access your home or staff member feels that his/her personal safety is at risk due to danger posed by a pet or action of an individual in or about the home.
4. Business Hours / Holidays / Weather
Business or cleaning hours fall between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Contractor reserves the right to cancel scheduled cleaning due to inclement weather. We may have to reschedule another cleaning on a mutually-agreed day.
Contractor does not do any cleaning on holidays. If a scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday, Contractor will reschedule another cleaning day.
5. Fees/ Service Discontinuance Policy
Payment applies on below condition:
One time cleaning – payment is due after the cleaning.
Regular cleaning– payment is due upon completion of the 2ndcleaning.
Acceptable methods of payment are cash, check, or PayPal (paypal.me/rcjdeluna)
A fee equivalent to the bank charge plus $20 is assessed on all returned checks. All fees are due upon rendition of service and must be paid in cash or check.
Any party to this contract may discontinue service at any time provided a week’s notice is given to both parties.
6. Guarantee Policy
Contractor guarantees your satisfaction every time cleaning is done. Let us know within 24-hour period of your cleaning day of there is something that you feel unhappy about our cleaning so that we can make corrections at no additional charge.
